After taking a short break from work last May, we went back into the events world by doing a photo coverage service at Zanaiah's 1st birthday party last June 12th. Too busy to read? Watch the AVP of Zanaiah's party instead:
It was nice to be back to work and it's nice to be back in The Columns as well. It was the same venue where we did the video coverage for Macy's 1st Birthday. What's great about these two events (Macy's and Zanaiah's) is that the similarities just kept on going. First is that they have the same venue. (Yes, it was in the exact same room). Second, both parties are in celebration of the girl's 1st birthday and third, both of the families are Born Again Christians, just like us.
We definitely enjoyed covering this event. At the time, it's been weeks since we were in action--so it's an understatement to say that we were pumped to be behind the camera again. Most of our enjoyment came from knowing that the family shares the same faith as we have. It's nice. It really feels like you're covering an event of a very close relative, instead of a client. We felt at home with them and the very kind way they interacted with us made us enjoy our work even more.
