Nicolai, or Nico to her family and frends, is not your usual debutante. When we had a sit down meeting a few weeks prior to her debut celebration, she made it clear that she didn't want much of the glamorous or super girly poses on her pre-event shoot; she's more into the chill, candid and wacky kind of shoots. And that was what we did.
For the most part that is. As her mom requested shots like this one:
Nico, on the other hand, wanted shots that are more like these:
Nonetheless, last July 9th, our photo and video team went to cover her debut at Field Residences, Sucat, Parañaque City. Her preparation was at a salon in a nearby mall, but the results are still great; Nico looks stunning.

At the condo unit, we proceeded with her shoot and had a lot of fun with it.
At the time, it was raining heavily (and the condo management was really strict) so we weren't able to shoot elsewhere. Thank goodness the hallway had some pretty good lighting.
It wasn't long before her party kicked off to a start. Here's some of our favorite photos from Nico's debut party:
